Case Study
A young investor eager to find a deal once invested over $60K into a tax deed property all to find out that he had not performed a sufficient lien search. The property ended up having over $100K in government liens. The property was now a negative investment because it would only sell for $93K on the open market. Unfortunately this was an expensive lesson to learn.
